Dear Airlines, No more hidden fees...



"The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) added its support for the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) proposal to establish rules requiring the clear display of all airline fees at the point of purchase. NBTA said that principle should apply regardless of which channel the purchaser uses to access flight and pricing information."

Its about time that someone is bringing the issue to the forefront. Airlines are adding new fees everyday. How are people supposed to keep up with "baggage fee this" and "travel tax that". Once upon a time airlines were all about making flying easy and customer friendly. It seems like these days they're all about squezing an extra buck out of us all. A ticket shown for $199 ends up being $250 with all these taxes and fees that show up as soon as you try and check out. I say show the full ticket cost right off the bat and stop wasting everyones patience... and more importantly they're time.
